I think I’ve figured out what I want to do as far as college and career goes. My mom is going to call our local vet, and I’m going to see if that’s what I like. If it is, I’ll try to take internship next year and be an intern there. That would give me lots of experience and it would help me learn to take the good with that bad and whatnot. Then, I want to try to go to Southeastern for four years to get a Bachelor’s Degree. It’s in Louisiana not that far away. I’ve been on the campus a half a dozen times or so. I would stay on campus, but it would still be close enough to go home. That would give me four years to adjust to college life. I’d major in pre-vet. Then, I would apply to Cornell. It’s Ivy League, but this guy came talk to us about it, and the biggest part of getting in is the essay. Writing is one of my stronger points. But it said this school has a realllly good vet program. And it’s in New York. So I think that would be a nice change of pace after living in Louisiana. Because if I don’t go out of state, I’d have to go to LSU for a Vet’s degree, and I just never wanted to go there. I don’t know why. It was never an option, I guess.

Buuuuuut, I need to get more involved and stuff to guarantee/have a better chance of having a spot. I reallly want to raise my ACT score to 30. That’s only 2 more points. I’m going to try out for Tennis, but I doubt I’d make that. I’m going to try and run for officer of something. I just really want to get out of Louisiana. I really, really do. And I also want to work with animals because I just love them and feel more connected to them.
